First Group KW
Building Kuwait since 1994, across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
First Group is one of Kuwait's largest engineering and construction groups: founded in 1994, part of Emeel Abdalla Investments, more than 10,000 people, and four business lines covering civil, electromechanical, infrastructure, and First ReadyMix concrete production across twenty plants. Its work runs from towers and mixed use developments to hospitals, universities and national infrastructure, and reaches from Kuwait into Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
We designed and developed the platform that carries all of it, and wrote every word of it in English and Arabic. A restrained black, white and red visual language built on Gotham and Swissra. An interactive map that lets a visitor walk three countries of projects. A full admin the team runs on their own. The site it replaced drew 38 visitors in nine weeks. This one drew 3,718 in its first five months, and every month has been stronger than the last.

Thirty years of building Kuwait, in one place.
First Group had built for three decades and had almost nothing online to show for it. We designed and developed the platform from the first screen to the last, and wrote every word of it in English and Arabic. Four business lines, hundreds of projects, three countries, one place that finally holds them.
Four business lines, one system.
Civil, electromechanical, infrastructure and First ReadyMix each carry their own page, their own capabilities and their own galleries, built on one template so a new line or a new plant slots in without a redesign. Behind them sit the resources that make the work possible: twenty batching plants running 2,000 cubic metres an hour, and a workforce of more than 10,000.
A visual language for a builder.
First Group builds in concrete and steel, so we designed a site that feels built rather than decorated. Black and white carry the structure, a single red marks the moment that matters, and grey holds everything in between. Gotham runs the English, Swissra runs the Arabic, and we weighted the two against each other so a page reads with the same authority in either language.
Gotham for the English, Swissra for the Arabic, weighted to carry the same authority in both.
Three countries, one map you can walk.
The projects are the argument, so we built a way to stand inside them. A visitor picks Kuwait, Saudi Arabia or Egypt and the map opens through cloud, every project marked where it actually stands. Each marker carries its own name, year, category and image, and the team places every one of them from the admin, not us.
Two languages, two first-class sites.
Arabic is not a translation layer bolted onto an English original. Every page, project, job posting and news item is written once in each language and stored as two equal versions, with the whole interface turning to read right to left. Nearly half of this audience arrives on a phone, so we built both languages mobile first.
Every project, its own page.
Beneath the map, each project carries a page of its own: the scope, the outcome, the location and the year, a gallery, and the highlights that make it worth the visit. Nine categories hold them, from towers and complexes to schools, malls and water tanks, so the portfolio grows by adding, never by rebuilding.
Google finds this company on its own.
Nine tenths of the traffic arriving from outside now comes from organic search. Not a campaign, not a push, just a site built so search engines can read it: clean URLs, semantic structure, both languages indexed as sites of their own, and metadata written page by page rather than generated by a theme. It is the traffic that does not stop when a budget does.
We handed First Group the whole site.
Every word on this platform is editable by the team, in both languages, from one screen. Hero slides, counters, projects and their positions on the map, news, job posts, construction updates, leadership, campaign pages, down to the phone number in the footer. Applications, leads, messages and subscribers land in the admin and export to a spreadsheet in a click. We designed it, we built it, and we keep it running.
Built to carry the next thirty years.
First Group opened this platform in March 2026, and it has climbed every month since. It was built to hold far more than it holds today: more business lines, more countries, more projects, more languages, without a rebuild. A thirty year old company, finally as visible as it is large.
